Westcoast Windows in Trollhättan manufactures high-quality windows and window doors in aluminum/wood with great flexibility regarding size and design. Our mission is to create value for our customers and owners with an attractive product range while providing a stimulating environment for our employees to develop in.

Today, the company has about 80 employees. The products are sold both in Sweden and for export, primarily to the UK. We deliver to public buildings, offices, schools, apartments, and private homes. We manufacture all our products in Trollhättan.

Westcoast Windows is part of the Inwidok Group, which is a publicly traded company with a turnover of around 9 billion SEK and approximately 4700 employees. We are a growing company with a bright outlook for the future, facing exciting challenges and opportunities. We intend to increase our production in both volume and products.

About the Job

This is an extremely vital role for us!

As a Preparation/Production Planner, you are responsible for planning our orders.

You review documentation and ensure that everything is production-ready. Your network within the company is broad, and you work with most functions. You develop and create new functions and product structures in the business system, prepare documentation for sales analysis, and are involved in certain purchases. Together with other employees in Production and our salespeople, you create the conditions necessary to get our products into production.

Your immediate supervisor is the Production Manager, and you participate in departmental meetings.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with many years of experience in preparation and production planning, as our production is customer order-driven and highly variable.

It is advantageous if you are familiar with working in CalWin and have an understanding of how windows are constructed. Extra positive if you have a broad understanding of systems and IT.

The position requires good knowledge of Swedish and English due to frequent contact with both Swedish and international suppliers.

A prerequisite for success is good computer skills and proficiency in the Office suite.

Personal Qualities

You have a knack for understanding product structures, are structured and meticulous in your work, while enjoying juggling multiple tasks.

You are mentally stable and can independently plan your work, even based on changing conditions.

As a person, you are communicative, receptive, unpretentious, and have a good ability to build trust through your engagement and energy, contributing to a positive work environment. With a customer focus, you strive to ensure our products are manufactured with high quality.
